Bearobics!

Edward here.

First of all I hope you had an excellent Christmas and I would like to wish you a Happy New Year.

We had some marvellous feasts over Christmas. There are a few good cooks in my hug and they can rustle up excellent meals in no time at all.

Belinda here is quite bossy but she is a dab hand at serving delicious morsels.

This is one of her typical "High teas".

Honey sandwiches, jams, honey, fruit, honey, cookies,

Absolutely mouth watering. Being a lady, her teas are always served on the best china.

Woe betide any youngster who is careless!!

So it was a bit of a shock when on New Year's Day she announced that we all needed to get fit and take up some form of exercise!!!
She then produced this tape...........

BEAROBICS.

Apparently this form of exercise is meant to be enjoyable.

Puffing away to the music of the Bear Gees is quite frankly not my cup of tea. Especially if I am expected to wear a silly head band and leggings!

Personally I think Belinda is trying to cover up her own need to exercise. Excuse me if I am mistaken but do I spy a little tummy appearing on the once svelte like figure?
Will keep you posted on our lack of, oops sorry, meant to say our progress.
Edward.

We popped back to the shop where the bears were partying day and night.

They are looked exhausted! Not surprising really!

Then we saw this little fellow when we went to pay for our goods.

Can you believe it???

They have bears working now.........

Poor chap looked so squashed, definitely not ideal working conditions as far as I am concerned.

He looked fairly happy, hopefully his shifts are not too long.

A trip out.

Well as we had to abort our Christmas shopping trip the other day due to the Penguin invasion we decided to venture out to the local shopping centre.
Rumour had it the penguins were still running amok at the garden centre so we thought it best to stay clear.

The first shop we came to we became very agitated.
There on the shelves sat so many little bears all waiting to be adopted.
It distresses us seeing them there, we knew their new owners would not be vetted to make sure they go to a good home.
Look at them sitting there all excited at the prospect of a new adventure we so hope none of them are abandoned after Christmas.

Please remember

A BEAR IS FOR LIFE NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS.

After wishing them well in their new homes we moved on and came across these bears.

They were outside Santa's Grotto.

All the bears were extremely busy making honey.

I think this bear had eaten a lot of the stuff the way he was rubbing his tummy.

It was good to see they were sensible and wearing their scarves to keep them warm.

Don't think I would have volunteered to be up on the roof. My beartigo would have kicked in!!!

Anyhow they have invited us back on Saturday evening, when the centre is closed, for a bit of a party. Just need to work out how to slip out of the house unnoticed!

Christmas shopping trip

Well, we decided it was time for us bears to go and do our Christmas shopping.
We hopped in the Bear bus and headed off to our favourite place about 15 minutes from where we live.
We knew we would find lots of gifts to buy our friends.
A huge Polar Bear works here and serves every bear shopper with much enthusiasm.

What we hadn't bargained for was the Penguin invasion!

There were hundreds of them!!!!!

They sure did make the shop pong of fish.....Eugh.

We didn't stay long.
Any excuse to go again........

Christmas bears.

The local bears in our area are real party animals.
They are taking over the shops!

Using them to have their Christmas parties and it is not December yet!!!!

That one on the right already looks the worse for wear.
He is definitely leaning to one side.
I wonder what was in his glass?
